Like most personal trainers, I started with a passion for people. Experiencing my own frustration when it came to learning proper lifting mechanics and achieving the performance as well as aesthetic goals while in high school, led me to pursue a career as a fitness coach almost immediately following graduation.
I grew up “husky”. I couldn’t fit comfortably in most clothes I tried on, and the bane of my existence was that my best friend ate fried chicken and milk shakes everyday and had eight pack abs.
Hardly the background of most fitness coaches worth their salt, or so I thought.
I spent the better part of a decade learning, watching, and experiencing what the fitness industry could offer to us “husky” middle class American folk, and to my chagrin I found the market lacking.
Precision Training opened for business January 1st, 2016. However, the thought process and systems that make our gym not just unique but effective have been brewing in my heart & mind for over 30 years.
